Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Spread softened butter on the outside of each hot dog bun for a crispy texture.
Place a slice of cheese inside each bun, then add a hot dog in the center. For extra cheesiness, add another half-slice on top.
Place the assembled hot dogs in a single layer in the air fryer basket to allow for even cooking.
Air fry at 370°F for 4-6 minutes, flipping halfway through at the 2-3 minute mark for even crisping.
Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer using tongs. Let them cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
Serve with mustard, ketchup, relish, or any favorite toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle garlic powder or Italian seasoning on the buttered buns before air frying.
